Bettina Aust and Christian Aust are naturally curious, daring, and adventurous. Even as a child, Bettina would take apart entire flowerbeds in her mother's garden to uncover the secrets of blooming. Christian instinctively finds unusual places and people both on his travels and in everyday life.
In short: the experienced journalists are your Lübeck detectives , always on the lookout for magical moments and encounters – for all fans, guests, but also all Lübeck residents who want to rediscover the familiar in their city.
Of course, in a city of art treasures and Nobel laureates in literature, degrees in art history and German studies are a definite advantage. Bettina's current favorite spot in Lübeck is the jetty at the Falkenwiese natural swimming pool , where you can soak up the sun after swimming in the Wakenitz River. Christian's current favorite place is admiring the freshly cleaned Tintoretto painting in St. Catherine's Church , losing all track of time and space.
