Gallery for One Night, Part Two

The duo has performed their "More Sea" program at Gabi Bannow's place in Tünkenhagen several times in the past, most recently last summer.

The guests were simply thrilled. A long-held desire, finally fulfilled: live music in this unique setting. Add to that homemade cakes and specialty coffees. Blooming roses above the entrance. What more could one ask for?

New contemporary works, of course! Gabi Bannow has used the past few months to create portraits. Moods and emotions are reflected in the faces. Here, too, it seems to me that moments that have shaped the past few months have been captured.

Are you wondering what the point is of reading about what you missed after the fact? Well, the gallery with Gabi Bannow's artwork is open for you, the homemade delicacies are just waiting to be enjoyed, and Agnes Mann and Johannes Winde certainly weren't visiting the "Gallery for a Night" for the last time...

Do you ever get that feeling? You walk past an inscription, a sculpture, or a plaque and you just have to stop and find out what it's all about? That's how it is for me. ALWAYS! "One only sees what one already knows and understands." I couldn't agree more with Goethe on that point. That's precisely why I never want to stop discovering the seemingly insignificant, recognizing connections, learning new things, and getting to the bottom of people and their stories. Okay, and writing overly long sentences... And learning new languages, of course...
